General Information about Shingley Beach Resort, Shingley Beach
All our self-contained holiday apartments are 4 star standard and feature air-conditioning throughout, ceiling fans, balconies, direct dial phones, TV's, Broadband Internet access, full kitchens and laundry (*except studios) and a tropically themed furniture package.
All linen is provided as well as initial complimentary supplies of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, shampoo, washing up liquid, dishwasher powder, toilet paper, bin liners & scourer/sponge (*Note - clothes washing powder is an extra cost). However unlike a hotel room, we do not service the units daily - requests for additional linen, room cleans or a top up of initial supplies will result in extra charges. Apartments are serviced for stays of over 7 nights.
Inviting Saltwater Swimming Pools
The resort has two saltwater pools. The Garden Pool features two plunge pools connected by a waterfall, a poolside BBQ, table and chairs and sun lounges. The Beachside Pool is much larger (approx. 16m long) and features a shaded wading area for children, a deep dive area (3m in depth) plus a poolside terrace with barbecue, overlooking Shingley Beach parkland and Marina with views extending to the Whitsunday Passage.

CLOSED from January 2007 - undergoing a change of ownership and refurbishment. A variety of take away deliveries are available to ShingleyBeach Resort guests. Within a 2 minute drive away there is a plethora of dining options as well as supermarkets.

Located on the lower level of the resort, the reception doubles as a booking agency and can supply guests with comprehensive information about the hundreds of trips that leave daily (and weekly) for the Whitsunday Islands and the Great Barrier Reef Marine Park and Mainland tours. Airport transfers from/to Whitsunday Coast (Proserpine) Airport or hamilton Island Airport can be organised for guest.

Located on the pool deck just behind the restaurant, Shingley Beach Resort, Shingley Beach Conference Centre represents over 130 square metres of space, with theatre seating for approx. 100 (banquet style - 80). Two smaller function rooms can also be created via a folding partition wall (Dolphin Room and Dugong Room). The Conference Centre is fully air-conditioned and features direct dial phones, modem/data points, full catering facilities, sound system, white boards, overhead and data projector and variable lighting.
